I am sorry but I really don't have an idea of what you are referring to here. Do you mean you are trying to enable authorship? After setting the google+ url, you should be able to see the google url in your entry view under the author information. Looking at your current settings, it looks like you have disabled the author info and this probably caused the authorship to not work.

I have checked in your site, it seems like you already enable back the "Author info" from your backend Easyblog setting right?

I am on 2.5, anyway I do have Authors Info Enabled but no rel="author" generated.

Take a look at the post here, https://travcom.org.nz/members/members-blog/day-trip-from-oc-long-beach . Then, your should see the authorship data there under "View Google Profile". This is added under the requirements and recommendations of Google Authorship.
