I have created a Menu item (Authors) Single Author for a user who has 40 blogs in 8 different categories.
If I click on any Category the blogs show. When I click on the menu item created I get an error message that says: "There are no blog posts available yet currently".

All of the blogs are assigned to the author, I have cleared cache, tried creating new blogs but I cannot get the blogs to display.
Hi Kevin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like the provided joomla credentials and FTP is not working for me.

Please advise.

I found the problem, this may be a bug.

1. Blogs data was imported from old site (everything worked okay in new site)
2. I decided to clean up the HTML code and image names and naming conventions in all 40 blogs using JCE editor.
3. After update, the Link By Author menu item did not display blogs, but clicking on each blog Category I could see the blogs.
4. In the Database in the xxxxx_easyblog_post table I noticed the "blogpassword" was populated with a password for every blog that I edited. Not sure why or how the password was added, maybe ACL issue.

For each blog I had to edit the database (can also be done by opening each blog and removing the password on the lower right side and saving).

Thanks for the help,

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

This is actually not a bug and I believe what actually happened was on step #2 where you edit these blog posts and clean up the html codes, your browser was automatically populating the "password" field (This is very common as web browsers / plugins tries to auto populate login forms)
