I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. This is actually the EasySocial's content plugin displaying the author information beneath the article. If you want to disable it, you can disable it from the plugins manager. Alternatively, if you want to fix the broken language string, you can follow the guide here, http://stackideas.com/forums/author-details-section-has-es-language-strings

I cannot access the guide URL as I have no subscription to Easy Blog. But that's okay. I think I want it disabled for now. But if I did want to enable it again, could I change the language with a Template Override?

I just upgraded to EasySocial v1.3.30 and now the Author Information has returned. However, when I check the setting above, it's still set to NO, but the Author Information still shows.

I cleared all caches and this did not help. I tried turning the setting ON then saving, then back OFF again and saving. Did not work. I finally had to totally disable the EasySocial - Content plugin to remove the author info. But I liked being able to add activity, points and badges integration with EasySocial.

Any ideas?

If you are looking for the Author Information, as I mentioned in the earlier post, I have disabled the EasySocial-Content plug in so it would not show the author information. I have enabled it for you and now you can see the information now.

And even though I have Show Author Information set to NO, it shows.

Wow. Okay. I've never touched that setting. I don't know how it got turned on.

Then what does the Display Author Information setting do?

Looks like it isn't being used. Will remove this settings! Too many plugins, apps, modules, extensions to maintain -_-
