On the all authors page, the bio is now automatically truncated and a readmore is provided.

There does not appear to be a setting to control this; and furthermore, when you click read more, the formatting (paragraphs) are stripped from the bio.

Can this be corrected/changed.

Thanks,
Andrew
Hi there,

Currently, we have enforce them to be truncate accordingly. If you wanted to avoid this, you can upload attached file at this path template/current_template/html/com_easyblog/helpers/headers/author.php and see how it goes.

Prompted steps are for template override where those files will not overwritten once you have done an update/upgrade to your Easyblog.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

That worked to end the truncation, but it ignores the site template custom css file where <p> has been customized to behave as a soft return (i.e. less line height than shown here) - see attached.

Can this be changes as the full line breaks look abnormally large and when there are 20-50 authors, this will add enormously to page length.

Thanks,
Andrew

Unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this.

For the biography content, it seems like it auto added <br> tag between the <p> tag, I will lock this into our issue tracker and see what is the reason behind added this.

For now you can download my attached file and replace into this -> JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/profile.php , so it will not auto add that <br> tag into the biography content.
