The latest post on the topic of AUP Rules for EasyDiscuss was found here >>> https://stackideas.com/forums/where-do-we-get-easydiscuss-alphauserpoints-rules

To my understanding, "AlphaUserPoints" was discontinued and removed from JED which was later forked and became known as "AltaUserPoints".

Being a follower of this since the early days of AUP, I switched over to AltaUserPoints but am noticing that some developers are still referring to the points system as AlphaUserPoints.

In every case I've encountered, installing AlphaUserPoints rules on AltaUserPoints immediately fail and return an error. The only way I've found around this is by renaming the code from alpha to alta so that it can be installed.

I tried installing the AUP Rules for EasyDiscuss out of the box and it failed. I renamed the code in the file from AlphaUserPoints to AltaUserPoints and was able to install, but the rules don't actually work. For example, AUP rule enabled for new discussion, a user doesn't receive the points for their new discussion.

Just curious if some light can be shed on this and if something can be done so that the rules work, or if I should be looking into AlphaUserPoints which I thought was discontinued.

Thanks
Thanks for sharing, since the AUP rules file is not working on AltaUserPoints extension, I will log this issue into our issue tracker, we will see if we can make it compatible with these 2 extension or just one for AltaUserPoints extension.
