Hello Anand,

The file must be installed from the Alpha User Points component rules installer. Not the Joomla installer. Hope this helps.

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tested using the latest version of AlphaUserPoints component + latest version of EasyDiscuss + Joomla 3.x or above, it work fine with the plugin -> Easydiscuss_aup_plugins_2.0 integrate with the AlphaUserPoints component. Hope this help.

i installed all the aup rules without any problem.

i tested some if not most of them, and they seem work. but 'view discussion' rules doesn't award any points to the viewer.

I am sorry but I believe there was some miscommunications earlier. The "easydiscuss.read.discussion" rule is meant for badges in EasyDiscuss only. It does not award points for the user when they view a discussion.

if it's meant only for badges, what's the aup easydiscuss view discussion rule for?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Ah, sorry I misunderstood the question. Anyway here's a quick fix, download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/tables/ and overwrite the post.php file
