Hello,

I am currently testing EasySocial on a site that also broadcasts a podcast. I would like to ask if anyone has experience (or ideas) to link audio podcast with SNS.

For the podcast I intend to use ZoomSounds, a player which offers close to Souncloud features, including the ability to comment on a specific point of the audio file.

For now, the only link with the SNS is the name of the author together with EasySocial data.

Can we go further and
- Bind the comments on the podcast with the timeline of the SNS?
- Easily include parts of the podcast in comments SNS.
- Include in the podcast references to articles or comments from SNS?

If you have ideas or examples, they are more than welcome.

Thank you.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Bob,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it was public holiday for all of us here in Malaysia.

Hm, this sound interesting but I am not really sure how to actually implement this in easysocial. Perhaps you can try to post this in our easysocial voice section too, http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial so that other user can vote and possibly adding some idea there.

Hello Ezrul,

The player allows comments, located at specific times of the sound file. A mini avatar appears in the graph of the sound track (I've circled). When the player comes in on a comment, a small window opens and shows the content of the comment. (surrounded by a rectangle).
Comments can be listed on the page (or article) on the sound file.
Here is a demo of Zoomsounds: https://0.s3.envato.com/files/119052391/index.html

I would love that
- Comments are displayed somewhere (in a group perhaps) in EasySocial.
- Member's timeline displays t comments he wrote.

Is there an API or something else, that make EasySocial communicate with other program.

Thank you.
Regards,

Bob

Hey Bob,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. To be really honest, I am not entirely sure how would this work because our API only generates the comments form. There is no way to customize the existing comment form to allow commenting capability on certain intervals.
