On the event listing page view, the number of attendees incorrectly includes those 'Not Going' and 'Maybe'.... click through to the individual event detail page itself and the number of attendees shown at the top of the page there is correct.

So hopefully just a fairly simple tweak to fix that? (don't need it on my site urgently as not a major issue so I haven't included site details.. can wait until next release!)
Hello Andy,

It is actually a different between the event header and the listing view. The header show 'Attendees' means who is going to the event. As for the listing view, it is showing the Guest (everyone related to the event even they choose not to go to that event). However, you can change the behavior on your site buy replacing the attached file in ../administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/event/event.php. Hope this helps.

Hi Nik... Thanks for the explanation (and file tweak).... Can you guys consider a permanent change here... as it currently stands it threatens the integrity of EasySocial for two reasons in my opinion:

1) Consistency... on one page it can say "10 attendees"... then click the link to the event detail and it says "8 attendees"... what is the user going to think re: the reliability of such a system?

2) Language... If you want them to be different things, they should have a different description. "Attendees" means people attending. It doesn't mean people who might be, or have actually stated they won't. So something like "Responses" or "Responders" would be needed... but I think it would be much tidier and more useful just to stick with the REAL number of "attendees" as is displayed on the event detail page itself.

What do you guys think?

Hello Andy,

Thanks for the suggestion. I was discussing with the team about this and we have considered to use either one (Attendees/Guests) for both views. That will be less confusion.
