I am unable to create a new blog. Once all information is added to the blog, clicking the publish or save as draft link results in a spinning icon that never goes away. I have recently upgraded easy blog. I first attempted to update through the site. Got an error so I downloaded the patch version from your site. I then installed via the install feature through Joomla. Everything installed correctly. I logged out and cleared cache. Once I was back in and tried same steps again I got the same result.

Any ideas? I checked your forum and they were suggesting some memory issues and execution rates updated. Not sure if my host will allow me to update that. I was running on php 7.0. I then just updated to 7.1 hoping that was the issue but no dice.

Thanks for any assistance

UPDATE: Just added FTP and backend acess to site...
Hi there,

It seems that i cant access your site using given access credentials as you can see here http://take.ms/nryWW

Hi there,

It seems that i hit this http://take.ms/JO5Aj while checking on your site. It would be best if you can restore your site again as i might accidentally rename one of your file and caused this issues to happen. Sorry for any inconvenience caused

Hey Nate,

Do you have the FTP access to the site? It would be easier for us to troubleshoot the site with the ftp access because without the FTP access, it's very difficult for us to use a file manager on the site to troubleshoot this.

Sorry for the delay of this reply as it is weekend for us right now.

BY the way, thanks for your understanding and updating those credentials for us and right it seems that we cant acees your backend as it kept redirected me to your frontend. And it would be best if you can provide us with your backedn access also, as when tried to out your FTP on your first reply, it overwrite your backedn access credentials.

Please advice.

Hello,

I have restored the site now and need to get Easy Blog up and running. I tried to reinstall but didn't work. I have now uninstalled Easy Blog and tried to install fresh copy and that doesn't work either. Gets stuck at 20% initializing files. I updated the original post with FTP and Front end access to the site. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to get this up and running.

Thanks

I sent the URL path but maybe Admin tools is blocking your IP or maybe it is blocking your location. I have disabled admin tools. See if that works. If not, I may need to unblock your IP.

Thanks

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like now we can access on your site, may i know what editor you would like to use? Based on what i see your backend Easyblog default editor you use Tiny-MCE editor but somehow this Tiny-MCE editor is not populate correctly on the page even Joomla article creation page as well, so currently I switch to use Easyblog built-in editor, can you give it a try again is it work fine now?

I think last time you trying to install/update Easyblog that is not install completely yet so caused this issue.

By the way, glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
