Hi!

I see some problems with attachements in ConverseKit. Maybe it's the "jpeg" (not "jpg") extension. When user upload one of this, the receiver sees "0 Kb" and when they clicks on Download icon it goes to a 404 error page.
Hi,

We shall check on this and get back to you soon.

Hi Vincenzo,

I found the bug and applied the fix. Let's go one by one:

1)
I see some problems with attachements in ConverseKit. Maybe it's the "jpeg" (not "jpg" extension. When user upload one of this, the receiver sees "0 Kb"

I assume you said user unable to upload .jpeg images. If that is the case, I noticed that you did not specify that format in the backend. Conversekit follows EasySocial setting for type of files allowed to upload and related settings.

To change the setting, please go to admin panel -> Components-> EasySocial -> Settings -> Conversation (tab) and you will see Allowed File Types option. Add a comma followed by jpeg.

2)
When user upload one of this, the receiver sees "0 Kb"

for this, I'm unable to replicate on my local host as well as on your site.

When I upload unsupported types, it throws warning, and after submitting the message, the attachment doesn't get submitted.

Please re-check if the issue persist.

3)
when they clicks on Download icon it goes to a 404 error page.

This was a bug and I created internal ticket for this and its been fixed. The next release will have this fix. However, I've already updated on your site to save the hassle.

Kindly test from your end and do let us know if the issue solved.

Thank you.
