Hi there,

I would like to define different blocks to different categories, similar as define what blocks are available for a category. Or define a template with different blocks and assign the template to a category.

How do I to achieve this?

Thanks
Sophia
Hey Sophia,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Do you mean Easyblog build-in composer inside the block?

If yes, unfortunately that was not possible to assign to different category which blocks you would like to show at this point of time.

Thanks Alex.
Not sure what you mean by "Easyblog build-in composer inside the block".

Say when users write a post, they can add blocks to the post. However, I would like to define what blocks can be added depends on the types of the post. To achieve this, either the visibility of the blocks can be managed by user access levels, or assign a templates with defined available blocks to a category. Sth like that. An example would be, one category for videos, the other one only articles, no videos.

At this moment, mainly the HTML, button and video blocks.

Thanks & Regards
Sophia

Hi Sophia,

I am sorry for misunderstanding here. Currently it is not possible to assign specific a block to appear only on specific category when composing a blog post in EasyBlog.
