Hello there,

If a user is not logged in and clicks on the 'Ask a question' button, then they are redirected to registration page. I do not think this is a good practice, as the expected behaviour should be that the user is shown a login page or the option to click on register. Similar to what is done here (See attachment.)

Please let me know how I can achieve this.

Hello Vinod,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easydiscuss/helpers/helper.php this file will redirect you to Joomla Login page. If this doesn't help, you can provide us your backend and FTP so we can apply it for you.

Hi Nick,

Awesome, thanks for the prompt reply. It worked.

It is nice to redirect the user back to the page after login, therefore I added the return url to helper file. I've attached it here if it of any use.
