Hi,

excuse me. How exactly the points "Article Read by User" works?
Is it by logged in users only? Or by IP? Once a day? Or Anytime / Everytime?

Thanks
Hi,

Currently it is on each visit (also relies on cache).

Hi,

thank you for your reply Jason.
Can you tell me which file and where this file actually is? I looked at the documentation, but couldn't find it.
Thanks a lot

Hello Jan,

If you meant the reading article points in EasySocial, it's actually not session aware. Everytime you open up an article, it'll log the points for them You can find it in /plugins/content/easysocial/easysocial.php

Interesting, I can't find the easysocial folder under plugins. Are you talking about the standard plugin folder?

Also, do you know who can we contact to extended the custom per view / per ip / per day ?

Thanks a lot

Hello Jan,

Yes, correct it's in /plugins/content/easysocial/easysocial.php . Currently this isn't possible but I will definitely try to see if we can enhance this in the future

That would be great...
I checked the folder again and the easysocial under /plugins/content/ is not there...
I tried to re-install it but all the same

I personally do not have any use for the read article points option, I agree that members should not be able to rack up points by viewing an article.

Hi Josh,

if you don't need it, you simply don't need it, however we need it for our site... different projects = different needs
We have the same in Alphauser points but we would like to fully move to EasySocial Points system.

Mark,
could you please recommend someone for the freelance work - we really need it

Thanks a lot

I would strongly recommend that you post your requests via freelancer.com or any customization area that allows an entity to control this This way, it ensures that the freelancer delivers their job and you get what you wanted

Hi Mark,

thank you. Of course there are freelancers everywhere I just thought you may know someone who you already work with.

And I would definitely NOT recommend the the website you mention. Full of freelancers which never deliver.

Thanks anyway

Notice I agreed with the idea even though I said I didn't need it?

My apology Josh,
I misread it...

If you suddenly need it, let me know... maybe we can share the development cost.

All the best
