I love Easy Articles, but it is still showing some need for improvement. Some articles I post will initially have the correct author name, but then begin displaying "array" after being edited in EA. When checking the articles in Joomla, the array is somehow automatically being placed as the alias.

See attached picture.

As it turns out, several different fields are being filled with "array," including meta keywords, description, etc.

I do not believe any other extension is causing this. Please advise.

Also, will EA be updated to include some of the newer features of EasyBlog?
Are you already on the latest version of EasyArticles? If I recall correctly, this was already addressed in the latest release. I have tested this locally and when editing an article in Joomla (which was created by EasyArticles), it is showing up correctly, http://take.ms/TwqFc

The problem seems to be happening when the article is left open in the editor and autosaves.

Hi there,

Seems like it is not possible for us to replicate them currently as i have left them open and let them autosaves as you can see here http://take.ms/US89p. It does not show those array words on my end.

Maybe you can record us a videos so that we can have a better picture on how to replicate this on my end.

Please advice.

Would it matter that I'm running EA with an older version of Easy Social?

Hi there,

It should be no issues as it does not related at all, as Easyarticles only use Joomla articles. Might be, there are some plugin causing this issues on your end.

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? Please advice.
