Are Hashtags broken or is it just me?

Ever since the last update (1.2.4) hashtags in the social stream are not working for me. I can create them just find (my message includes this #hashtag) and clicking on that opens the link: 
component/easysocial/hashtag/3-hashtag?Itemid=


but nothing happens. creating a filter for that does nothing either.
ok nevermind I just figured it out. I didnt have the DASHBOARD menu item published, just the login menu item. Clearly ES needs this default menu item published for other things to work properly.

Thanks for updating and yes, it needs a menu item to be associated with EasySocial otherwise we wouldn't know which menu item to associate ourselves with.
