Are Discussion boards in a private group private?

I have created a private group that members can request to join.

I have created 6 discussion boards within the group.

Are these discussion boards only accessible and visible by the members of that group?

Yes that should be the case, group discussion's privacy will follow group's privacy.

Where do I go to confirm this?

I am connecting the group to an external video course but using ED for the discussion exercises. So I want to make sure it stays limited to those that enroll on the video course.

To check the privacy of your group discussions, use a regular user that does not belong to a group and access this section in EasyDiscuss. https://i.imgur.com/pGcah79.png

If the user is not part of the private group, the discussions will not be shown: https://i.imgur.com/jwmLI3Q.png
