Hi,

I am trying to upgrade from PayPlans 3.5.3 -> 3.5.5 as the first upgrade step --> 3.7.1. I am using: com_payplans_full_pro_3.7.1_joomla.zip. After pre-checks, I am getting:

Archive does not exist

error.

Thanks in advance,
Chris
Hey Chris,

I've checked your site and found that you are using incorrect installer, that's why you are hitting archive doesn't exist issue.
Installer for PayPlans 3.7.1 is for payplans 3.7 version only, for older version installer need to use compatible installer.

For now, I've already helped you to upgrade your site to PayPlans 3.7.1 version. Please take a look on this update and check if you still face any issue.

When you upgrade to PayPlans 4.0 , read the transition doc first before proceeding to upgrade.

Thank you for understanding !

Oh I see. Thank you for the assistance. Since I have several other sites with the same issue, could you kindly point me to where I can download the correct installer for the 3.5 and 3.6 upgrades. I couldn't find them on your site.

Thanks!
Chris

Hey Chris,

Please follow the below mentioned steps to upgrade PayPlans

# Find attached kit of PayPlans 3.5.5 installer and upgrade PayPlans to 3.5.5 version.
# After that use installer for PayPlans 3.6.3 and upgrade to payplans version 3.6.3.
# After upgrading 3.6.3, download 3.7.1 installer from dashboard and upgrade to payplans 3.7.1 version.

Once you upgraded to 3.7.1 version , before upgrading to PayPlans 4.0 version , please read the transition doc first.

Let me know if you have any issue.

Hello Chris,

I've already helped you to install 3.5.5 version at your development site, now you need to upgrade to 3.6.3 and 3.7.1 installer.
As per above reply : https://stackideas.com/forums/archive-does-not-exist-during-payplans-3-5-3-3-5-5-upgrade#reply-461190

By the way, Is this development site (http://dev.spiritualcareassociation.org) is from your licensed domain (http://dev.thechaplainconnection.org)? because we noticed that both sites have different homepage design and PayPlan Pro license only entitles you to support for 1 domain only.

Would you require support for additional domains, please consider upgrading your license to the Developer version or purchase an additional subscription for this site.

Thanks for Understanding!

Hi,

We just upgraded our license to developer so we can continue debugging this issue.

So what I really need to understand is why I cannot perform the incremental updates myself (3.5.3 -> 3.5.5 / 3.5.5 -> 3.6.x). What exactly are you doing on the backend to workaround the:

Thanks!

Hey,

I am really soery for the delayed response.

So what I really need to understand is why I cannot perform the incremental updates myself (3.5.3 -> 3.5.5 / 3.5.5 -> 3.6.x). What exactly are you doing on the backend to workaround the:
We have done step by step installation through installer.Didn't hit any issue at your site also.
1. First used Payplans installer for 3.5.5 version.
2. After 3.5.5, used 3.6.3 installer.
3. then last , used PayPlans 3.7.1 version.

The error you are getting, when installer trying to feth the kit from server. Most probable reasons.
1. If you are using incorrect installer to install payplans.
2. Other one installer not updated properly at your site, so in that case always do one thing.
Go to Extension >> Manage , here find ppinstaller and uninstall it. Then again install PayPlans installer (as per menitioned version) and see if still got issue.
3. If still issue persist , then we need to debug the issue.

As i checked your site (http://dev.spiritualcareassociation.org), we already helped you to install 3.5.5 version, then need to upgrade to 3.6.3 then 3.7.1 accordingly. Do you still face any issue to upgrade, if yes, please let us know , so we will debug this issue.

Update us with response.

Thank you for understanding !
