Hi,
Stackideas is comingup with some interesting and very userful apps.
Most of the people who are building websites are common people who are trying to implement ideas.
As a students and people working in small industries, we have limited money to spend, so we cannot afford apps above $20. Please try to lower the prices of apps, so that they are affordable to loyal users (I worked hard for 3 months to save money and buy easysocial bundle and few apps). Such lower prices can also increase your volume sales and you will reach the target.
Or if thats not possible please provide discount codes for users with valid subscription.
Hi Rama,

I disagree, SI is making great work here and have lots of cost making apps like this. You also receiv premium Support with every purchase you make here. Pricing is more then Fair!

I am not disagreeing with you Jean. One of the best supports I have ever seen for Joomla.
If you can make apps affordable they will increase the loyal users for SI. This will let most of the users buy apps and use them. In turn this will increase SI income and name. I have nothing against SI, SI is one of my favorites. Consider my appeal for SI's good. I want to buy "Profile Unlocker App" but looking at the price I am bit hesitant. So having the price of $20, I could have definitely bought the app as thats is the range where most of the startups (who spend from the pocket) can afford.
I leave the decision to you to decide. As a person willing good for SI I suggested my views.

I understand but,

I see this a bit different. SI is already making a lot for us regarding support also just look at the forums, a lot of support requests could be solved by its self if a customer would just brows SI forums and search for a solution or by reading documentations provided by SI. Every support request costs resources and men power from them.

ES is a huge component with a lot of functions. I my self like the concept of having only to buy what I need and add it to ES. By the way, when you buy a app its forever just a one time payment. As long as you have a valid subscription you will always receive support from SI for all your apps with out needing to pay for it again.

Thanks for chipping in Jean and sorry for the delay of my reply here. Have been really busy with all the extension updates :|

We do not have any discount codes right now, sorry. To be honest with you, our initial plan was to release the app at $79 because this app is not a simple app. There are a lot of complications to it.

Instead of retailing it at $79, we decided to push it out at $49 instead so people would be able to afford it. If we are to reduce the price further, I honestly would prefer to not release it at all because at the end of the day,

1. We have to update the app if there are any changes / fixes.
2. We have to provide support for the app
3. You are only paying it once and that's it.
