Looking for feedback/share what would be your choice dev tools for ES Apps/Joomla dev environment? Eclipse - Git? What would you use if you had the luxury to start-over and remove any "weak-link" or to take advantage of a more efficient tool?
I personally use notepad++

Thanks Mark & Ken. I've been using Notepad++ but looking for more like debugging, refactoring, and code completion for App development. I must say I really like Sublime Text and the price of Sourcetree (unlimited public/private repositories). For IDE I tried out Eclipse, Techjoomla recommends for re-building custom mobile apps but I've also just setup PhpStorm based on what I've found on the web. It's all alot different than the VisualStudio world, that's for sure

For anyone interested, I found some other useful sources of info as well if you're moving to Joomla-PHP from other domains:

After some work I've got a setup working fairly well, feeling "good & calm" for PhpStorm. Anyone who's also interested Joomla has details for Eclipse, here's tips on PhpStorm setup (fyi Joomla has a gratis license and anyone who can establish active work on an Open project can get one as well):
