Applying discounts and referral payments

We will have two basic recurring plans (initially). So users sign up and commit to monthly recurring payments handled automatically via credit card or PayPal.

I would like to use a referral preimium so that if an already subscribing member refers a third party to join. How does the member who created the new subscriber get the 10% referral fee?

Similar question but for social media discounts...if they like the site, how do they receive the discount, or what charge is it applied to?

Using Payplans Referral app you can give discount to user when they refer another user to subscribe plan.

For social media discount, using Payplans Social discount user will get discount by liking and sharing through Facebook, twitter and Google+.

I'm afraid you misunderstand my question.

I am fully aware of the apps and how to use them. What I want to know is does the person referring the new subscriber actually use the discount coupon. If their membership account is already set up as a monthly recurring plan with a fixed monthly automatic charge by the CC company or PayPal, how do they apply the discount code?

Hello Andrew,

Sorry for misunderstanding.

You want that if user already subscribed to recurring plan then if he got referrer discount code during ongoing recurring payment, then there is no way to use discount code in ongoing payment's.
User can use this on another purchase or in case of renewal of expired plan.

Thanks for the response. Yes I understand your reply. I suggest that you add to the App description "Coupons can only be applied to new purchases by the person providing the referral and can not be used with existing recurring subscriptions."
