Do you mean that certain profile types are able to browse and install apps while other can't?

Unfortunately, while you can control app browse and install for all profile groups, you can't do it for individual profile types

The settings for the app browsing and install is at EasySocial>Settings>General>Applications

ok so how do i remove users from searching apps and only having what i allow via backend?

Which area are you referring to here? Could you provide me with some screen shots please so that I can understand you here?

The EB and ED apps that are usually in the applications section for users to browse

Did you set it as "default application"? If it is set as the "Default application", the application will not appear in the listings.
