This issue has been fixed in the latest version of EasySocial and this fix also requires that you update your birthday values as well.

This application did not work initially.

You need to ensure that the birthday is updated because on older versions we store the date differently.

I changed the date of birth and my friends have not received any information.
I pointed birthday 2.2.2014

This application is not listed in the dashboard as this application only adds a widget in the sidebar to show the upcoming birthday of the logged in user's friends.

To test this you will need to have 2 user that are friends with each other, and set User A's birthday to 3 days later from today, and logged in as User B to see it. (Both user needs to have the Birthday App installed as well).

As of now, there's no way to really spend the "points" but perhaps you could ask 3rd party extensions like Virtuemart or any Gift system that would allow your users to use the points?
