I'm using the "CDN for Joomla" together with the "Client-Side CDN" enabled via the EasySocial configuration. I've followed the instructions for Obtaining and setting access keys to setup Amazon and it appears the graphics and docs are being delivered appropriately. My site is configured with three buckets for: 1) Web files; 2) Images; 3) Docs.

However, I'm getting a warning thrown when working with the ES component and the chrome inspection shows that some JS files are apparently not found.

Do you know what could be causing the issue? I've double-checked that the CDN for Joomla (plugin enabled) and ES Client-Side domain name are correct.

Thank you!
Hello Eileen,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have asked my senior about this, actually that is some mistake of your CDN setting from EasySocial, see my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/UmxKlqg6cNhH
Before that you only set d2rgi5f59defyz.cloudfront.net, so the server can get the script from your file, it should be set it to http://d2rgi5f59defyz.cloudfront.net
Then it work fine now.

Hello Eileen,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
You're welcome It seems like the script can't able to load into your EasySocial frontpage, can i have the permission to perform an installation of EasySocial in your site and see how it goes? Please advise.

Hello Eileen,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
It seems like i tried to re-install the Easysocial component, the error still appeared in your site

I have tried to access in your FTP, but i getting this :
Error:	Connection timed out
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Could you mind consult with your Webhosting provider regarding this? Maybe i don't have the permission to view your directory Joomla root folder.

Hi Arlex,

I'm sorry to have inadvertently caused this problem, I had restricted your access to the sub-folder but have given you site access now. Please check on your end. In addition, I am currently unable to access my dashboard (I have a different ticket into your support) so I'm unable to attempt an install myself.

I'm curious to know what you find as I'm fairly certain my last installation was successful and should be on the latest version. I wonder what it is that may be affecting the problem noted in this post.

Thank you!
-Eileen

p.s. Site access information is same as I previously sent in an earlier post.

Hello Eileen,

Sorry for late reply to this,
It seems like you saw it the error from the console development tools, that was CDN cache. You have to cleanup your CDN cache and see how it goes?

Hi Arlex,

1. We removed all ES scripts from CloudFront cache as illustrated in the first attachment. However, we still have the original problem when we attempt to enable client-side CDN for scripts. Interestingly, we do not have any problem pulling the CSS or images from CDN, only for ES scripts.

2. The second attachment illustrates that we can use the CDN for Joomla alone to pull CSS and images.

3. The third attachment illustrates that when using client-side CDN via ES CDN Settings in Preferences we have a problem where the JS scripts are not found. Other related errors are identified in the image. Again, I want to note that this problem apparently remains even after we cleanup the CDN cache.

Do you have any other suggestions for us to try?

Thanks again for your help!
-Eileen

Thank you Arlex. I didn't expect that would be the problem, because browsers in other cases I've experienced that if the URL doesn't start with a protocol specified (regex for "protocol specified": ^\w+\:\/\/), it will automatically prepend "http://". In fact, when I attempted to diagnose the problem myself I did find that the URL as specified resolved to CloudFront. Well, thank you for helping identify my error
