Hi.
Thank you for going to support yootheme pro for the page-builders

there is one BIG thing missing what makes it right now not really useable for building pages with Easyblog posts.
A option to set the blog image parameters is highly needed:
https://www.screencast.com/t/LZSRe9oDC

you have to be able to customize the output of the blog images. otherwise you can't really insert the content from easyblog into an existing page design. Without a possibility to set the blog images parameters like it is done for the "dynamic content feature" in yootheme's GRID it doesn't make sense at the moment. so it would be very sad if it stayed that way.
https://www.screencast.com/t/jAVCmJnovWT

that's why we also pointed you to the variant with "dynamic sources" in the voices. because with that it would be possible to adjust the image format to our needs as well:
https://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog/item/704-yootheme-pro-2-compatibility
https://yootheme.com/support/yootheme-pro/joomla/dynamic-content
Hi there,

Regarding,

A option to set the blog image parameters is highly needed

This option seems good to be added in the setting. I've logged a ticket on this to our developers.

Regarding the dynamic content, I believe it is making sense. We'll see how we can implement this in future releases.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Cheers.

Yeah sure. I've logged this to our developers to add.

Thanks.

There is an error in /modules/elements/src/settings.php on line 18:

Fatal error: Cannot declare class SettingsListener, because the name is already in use in .../plugins/system/yoothemeeasyblog/modules/elements/src/settings.php on line 18

It should be 'SourceListener', not 'SettingsListener'.

Hi Guitarman,

I'm unable to replicate this error. Perhaps, you can submit a new ticket on this and provide us with the full stack error so we can debug this issue. Would it be possible to provide us the site and FTP access so we can inspect this issue directly on your site.

Thanks.

Hi Yasser

There is no need to investigate further, the issue is only showing up in case other yootheme pro plugins are installed/activated.
i.e. this one

Hi there

Oh, I see. I suspect that there is some conflict with the class naming convention between these 2 plugins. Anyway, upon checking our repository, I believe there is already a ticket addressing this issue. Therefore, I hope this issue will be resolved in the next released version.

Thanks again for reporting this and have a great day ahead.
Cheers.

Hi there yes dynamic content source please EB -> YT Pro.
I totally agree with n00bster.
A small effort on part of stack ideas would do miracles.
Now I donĀ“t feel so alone anymore asking for updates on the app.
I fully understand that this must be very low on your list.
I really hoped on a new release of this app before years ending or even before the summer 2022?
Many..many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Paco

Hi there,

Thanks for your understanding. We'll see what we can do.

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusion in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issues in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
