The integration with Twitter in ES2 does not work with me unfortunately.

App has been installed and activated. However, it is not displayed. What have I forgotten?

Have a nice weekend
Hm, could you download the attached file and upload the file below into /administrator/language/en-GB/ and see if the text is translated?

Thanks for the input on the characters count. Something that is worth considering

Hello,

It looks like you are using JFBConnect to handle your twitter logins. In order for EasySocial Twitter app to work, you need to use the Twitter login from EasySocial instead.

You need to setup Twitter integrations in EasySocial first, https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/configuration/twitter-configuration . Once it is setup, login by clicking on the twitter login button

I believe your setup is incorrect as the app id / secret may have already expired. By the way I have disabled JFBConnect integrations and once you set up the Twitter app id and secret, you need to login with Twitter using the sign in button shown here, http://take.ms/7j2Hl

Thank you. API has been changed. Login has worked. The Twitter button for autoposting is not there yet.

Okay it looks like for some reasons, the folder /media/com_easysocial/apps/user/twitter/ is empty. I have re-installed the Twitter app for you and it works fine now

Your Twitter app is read only,

Read-only application cannot POST.

You need to set the app with write privileges.

Thanks, works now. The API was only on "Application Settings" on Read, Write. But in "Your Access Token" only on reading.

Now the app is only a little funny. See the screenshot.

Works only with max. 160 characters. Can a number of characters be inserted in the next update?

Or even better, a link to the source. Example: 150 characters ... and link to the source.

And if the pictures can be sent, that would be really great.

Thanks I habs not yet quickly translated into German.

Sorry, I have the same time even a question.

If I open the side notifications in the front end, the system notification "system warning" stands in the German rather for error. In the admin it is called "System Notification".

In which file can I change this?

This needs to be changed in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini . You probably want to edit the de-DE file instead since it is in German
