Hi,

I have installed the 'brithday' app, however having hidden the sidebar entirely, clearly this does not display anywhere now, as do many of the other apps that are reliant on this position.

Is there a way that an app such as the birthday app can be displayed into a module position?
Hello Ollie,

I've tested in my local and it is working fine: http://screencast.com/t/xDlwPY3Jf . To make it appear, one of your friends must have incoming birthday between 7 days from the current date.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for looking at this, the issue is that having completely hidden the sidebar on the site, there is nowhere for this to display now and I wanted to publish the app somewhere other than in the sidebar.

Is this possible?

Hi Nick,

Are you able to direct me to the file that controls the content displayed in this widget please, to see if I can work something?

Thanks

Hello Ollie,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

You can take a look inside your /media/com_easysocial/apps/user/birthday/themes/default/widgets/ folder where the content is generated.
