API uypdater broken

Good afternoon,
When we are using the update feature the API is flagging errors...

Installed version: 3.9.24862
Latest available version: 5.0.190000

Starting upgrade process ...
Downloading patch files ...
Updating Foundry Framework
Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html ...

We have re-generated the API fresh and tried to ensure that this is correct, we have also manually uploaded the latest version of the program and its still not updating, please let me know how to resolve this ASAP
hey Walter,

The Easyblog 3.9 updater is not working for upgrade to Easyblog 5, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

It seems like you provided that user account do not have SuperAdmin privileges so I do not have permission to access Joomla installer page.

Thanks that has updated now, can you roughly let me know what the issue was, did you have to manually remove something?

Also we are getting an error message on the LinkedIn API
'An Error occurred during authorization, please try again later.'

Hey Walter,

You're welcome, what I did is download the latest launcher installer from http://stackideas.com/dashboard then upload through in Joomla installer.

Because that was not working if you update through in Easyblog 3.9 updater.

I suspect that was because Linkedin already updated their app API key, perhaps you can tell me where you hitting this error and provide us with your Linkedin and Twitter or Facebook access as well?

I need last time which you use for authenticate with Easyblog autopost to Linkedin and Twitter user login account.

Because I would like to check with your Linkedin and Twitter app and see is it misconfiguration.
