I have been trying to use the updater for EasyBlog but keep getting an error with the API key. Have changed it a couple of times but each time it won't accept.

The site is currently using EasyBlog 3.9.22 and the available version is 5.0.19 so I'm wondering if that may be the issue? Do I have to manually update to EasyBlog 5 before using the updater? Please advise. Thanks!
hey Anne,

You have to download the latest launcher installer from http://stackideas.com/dashboard then upload the installer through in Joomla installer.

If the issue still persists, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

I have the same issue - however, when I try to upgrade via the installer it gets stuck at 45% and then there is an SQL Error. I did post the SQL error in your support ticket system only to be told you don't use your support ticket system. Since then I have restored my site and don't want to install it again until I have a test link setup. Any ideas?

Hey Thanasi,

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

By the way, it would be best if you can start a new thread and include your site details into optional information section.

Hi,

I have replied to a support query to your support account. I'll also now send FTP details. Thanks.
