API Key not recognized

Hi
I have an active Easyblog account with API Key
I am running Installed version: 3.8.14670
and would like to upgrade to Latest available version: 3.9.15110
But the updater is not working....
I got following error message : Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html ...
I cleaned cache from website, browser etc....but get always the same error message
Your help would be much appreciated

hey jean,
as you're on easyblog 3.8 in this case the auto-updater doesn't work. To update to the latest 3.9.x version you need to manually install the latest package.
in general the auto-updater only works within the same major number, so when you're on 3.9.x you can always use it to get the latest version as long as the latest version is 3.9.x.x - when it's 4.x then again it won't work.
