I do not have an api key ... Can you provide one so I can do the update?
thanks
Marco
Hello Marc,

You no longer need any API key. All you need to do is to head over to https://stackideas.com/dashboard to download the installer. Then install it just like how you install on the site

Hello

You can see attached :
1/ the possibility (recommanded that I have to upgrade like I used to) with an api key, this system is not working anymore?
2/ I downloaded the package and I put it in the right folder as asked and then I have a problem which I never had before with the queries.zip file

I hope that you can tell me what is the problem and that I can upgrade like I use to.

regards
Marc Olivier

Hello Marc,

The newer version of EasySocial does not require the API key any longer. This update is required to update the installer / updater of EasySocial. You just need to download it once from https://stackideas.com/dashboard . After downloading, upload it through Joomla's Extension manager.

Once you have done that, you don't need to enter the api key in the future to upgrade anymore.

Great thanks for you answer, One quick question though if I do what you suggest would I loose all the data, setup and so on from the previous version.

Also, can you tell me the big differences btw the full pro version and the launcher pro version?
Thanks
Marco

It will not lost your existing data when you upload launcher or full installer through your Joomla installer page, what is the different between that is :

Launcher installer
- It will download all the latest Easysocial files from our server then copy over on your file server.

Full installer
- All the latest file already included inside the installer, once you upload through Joomla backend installer page, it will automatically extract all the folder and copy over your file server.

I already updated to Easysocial latest version on your site, can you give it a check?

Before you access your backend, you have to clear your browser cache before you access.

Hello Marco,

I believe the problem is most likely because of your browser's cache. But it shouldn't have anymore issues moving forward
