I just purchased a new license for the komento component.
But when I try to upgrade to the new version from my Joomla I get the following error:

"Error updating component when using the API from Joomla. Please try again."

I do not know if that is because instead of renewing I bought a new subscription.
How do I get around this issue?

I'm using Joomla 3.10.10 and going from komento Version: 3.1.5 to Latest Version: 4.0.3.

Since this is a major update, I would suggest that you install the new version of Komento with the installer downloaded from your dashboard. If you still experience the issue when installing Komento normally through Joomla, let us know so we can investigate.
