I believe I have all the settings correct for our pages at http://www.drcarney.com/blog to display in the posted order with the most recent blog to the front. But. for some reason some of the blogs are not showing at all. Do you have an idea why?
Please check this again Sean I have moved all your blog posts to be posted as site wide instead it being under a team.

Hey Sean,

Can you please be more specific as to which post isn't showing up? This way, I could then check why is the post not showing up

Certainly. Here are some of the blogs that are not showing up on the main page:

How do these Diet Experts Measure Up?
How to Respond to Holiday Food Bullies
Tips for Taking a Plant-Based Diet on the Road
Is the Fructose in Fruit Bad for Us?
Go "Straight-Up" for the Holidays!

And, there are many more! Thank you.

Hey Sean,

The posts are actually not showing up because they are not contributed in site wide. I am not too sure why but perhaps it was previously created in a team blog which was deleted after that?

I do not know what happened. I did not delete any team blogs. We seem to have lost a LOT of blogs so I am hoping we will find an explanation like that.

Can you tell me how I can get them back to being contributed into Site Wide?

I am actually very confused about what happened right now.

Mark,

On thinking about this I am not sure if I actually need my blogs to be in a Team Blog. I have to admit to never having really understood the team blogs. At this point I do have a team that blogs but we all blog to only one place. So, I do not need team blogs now. If there was a way to get all my blogs out of team blogs and get them displaying I would be grateful. It is very embarrassing to appear to have lost my blogs.

We had another really strange problem where a bunch of our blogs stated that they were modified by me. I spent hours recovering them. I changed my joomla password, ftp password, which I gave to you and I also changed my password at my host in case somebody got into our system. But, that would be some very strange timing!

If you could help me to know how to remove all team blogs and just make sure that all our blogs display I would be very grateful.

Do you want me to make all blog posts posted as "site" instead of it being under a team?

Yes! That would be wonderful. I do not need any under a team for now. After you do that we can delete the two teams. They won't be needed. I was mistakenly using those teams like a category.

Mark, I would also like you to point me to where it is, or how it is that blog posts get put into the teams? I must be missing something very basic and have not found that.

Thanks Mark,.

It did work. Thank you. I am still struggling to figure out what "Site Wide" is or does. In the old version is used to say "Contributed entry to: site Wide" but I am not sure what "Site Wide" is. It does not appear to be a Team?

On the site now I still have a couple teams. I am thinking to just delete them because we are really only one team. I was using them to almost categorize two types of content. Ones that promoted content on our site and ones that promoted content on other peoples sites. I don't know that I need those "Teams" but am also having a hard time figuring out where and when I assign a blog to a team.

I have some more bugs appearing in our blogs so will open some more tickets now.

Site wide basically means that the post is posted as a normal / standard post which doesn't need to respect any other privacy apart from the blog's post privacy.

If the blog post is posted in a team, the privacy of the post will be dependent on the team.

Thank you for that description. Now I can think of Site Wide as "default"

I will search your documentation to read up on how to assign blogs to team blogs now!
