Hi.
For some reason, I now have this text "Ash Tutors Site" appended onto the title tag of every blog post. Is there a setting where I can remove this?
Many thanks.
Geoff
Hey there,

Yup, there is a setting to do that which is to disable the 'Append Title On Entry View' which is at Backend > EasyBlog > Settings > SEO > General.

I had helped you to disable it already.

Can you have a check and see how it goes?

Hi.

Previously before changing this setting, it was saying 'Ash Tutors' Blog'. Since disabling this setting, it's now saying 'Ash Tutors' Site'!

Please see the attachment to see how it's showing up in the title tags.

All I want to see is the title of the blog post - I don't need anything extra adding onto the end.

Hope you can help.

Many thanks.

Hey there,

To be honest with you, before I disable the setting, it will append this "Ash Tutors Site" on the page title and you did mentioned it on your first thread too.

I had disabled the setting and the page title showed blog title without append with "Ash Tutors Site". You can check it out at the View Page Source's <title> tag. Example: https://www.ashtutors.co.uk/newblog/entry/hiring-a-private-tutor.html (Kindly refer the screenshot)

Based on your screenshot, I believe it comes from one of the 3rd party SEO tools, can you re-crawl your website in your SEO tool and see whether is the title still append with "Ash Tutors Site"?

If yes, can you consult with this 3rd party SEO tool provider and see what is the reason why it still appends with "Ash Tutors Site" on the blog entry page?

By the way, if you would like to check your site SEO, I would recommend you check it on the Google webmaster tool instead of those 3rd party SEO tool because different SEO tool has different architecture.

Hi,

Thanks for that.

I've recrawled again - and it seems the issue was something to do with using Cloudflare to cache the site - so once I'd cleared the cache all showing up OK.

Thanks for your help again.
