Annoying editor issue in backend

Hello,

I have upgraded to the latest version of easy blog and have noticed an annoying issue with the blog creation screen in the back end when typing.

I have found that when pressing the delete key, the cursor moves out of the editor window. This has also happened when typing too. The cursor moves to the top left of the editor screen.

Have tried this with both firefox and google chrome and it does the same thing.

Any ideas?

Just tested in the frontend and it doesn't do it there....

Hi Peter,

I can't replicate the issue in my local instance. Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access instead so we can check the issue directly?

hi Ezrul,

thanks for the reply. I have completed some more testing and it only happens on my linux (ubuntu) laptop using both google and firefox. If I use my wife's apple mac (safari), it doesn't happen.

Let me know if you use linux and want to test.

Hi Peter,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

Ah I see. Unfortunately my pc does not have Linux installed currently . I will give it a try once I have found a linux machine here. Thank you for the report.
