Amazon S3 - Waiting Suggestions

Does anyone use Amazon S3? I am wondering about its mothly costs. There is no way to calculate its price accurately. Is really Amazon S3 cheap? If i change my idea later and want to turn server side storage, how i will manage my files stored on S3. is this will be a problem?
Hm, currently it doesn't actually pull back the files from Amazon S3 if you decide to switch it back to Joomla. This is something which we will be working on in 1.3

I think Amazon S3 is relatively cheap and you don't really need to pay that much as compared to a hosting account
