I have a couple of questions regarding Amazon s3:

1) What happens to existing locally stored user info once storage is switched over to s3?
2) I see that up to 10 files are synced very time a cron process executes. Does that cron process need to be configured separately? If so, do you have any docs on it?

Hello John,

Please find the answers to your inquiries below:

1) What happens to existing locally stored user info once storage is switched over to s3?

When the cron executes, it will try to sync the files over to Amazon S3

2) I see that up to 10 files are synced very time a cron process executes. Does that cron process need to be configured separately? If so, do you have any docs on it?

Nope, you don't need to process a separate cron. It's the same cron URL that is used to process e-mails. You can read more about it at http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/cronjobs/cronjobs
