Hi guys

I'm thinking of moving my data to a cloud server. Amazon S3 seems to be a decent choice, however, is it the only one supported? I thought Joomla supports many cloud services or does it need to be the one in easysocial only?
Currently EasySocial only supports Amazon S3 and not other remote storages but it seems like AWS is a more popular choice amongst the rest?

Not so sure:) , to be honest i thought they are the same products. Mark, by Amazon S3 you really meant just the S3, right? As they also have Amazon EC2, which would be more practical for me at this moment. Is Amazon EC2 no supported right? Only s3 works?

Oh,.sorry got it
The EC2 seems to be a different product, i meant s3 reduced redundancy option, but it seems to be supported already by default

HI Izzan

In remote storage tab: Transfer limit option is set to default to 10 Files per cron execution (in my case every minute). By the files do you mean photos for example? So 10 photos per minute will be synchronised right? or is it 10 photos per user per minute? Is it safe to increase to 30 for example?
Thank you.

Hey Alexander,

They are actually 10 items to be transferred regardless if it is a photo or a file (files app) and they are not per user per minute. You can increase it to 30 but if the server's connection to Amazon is slow, you might find that most of the time, they will time out during transfer
