Now that we have the facility to change the paths of the image folders - amazon s3 no longer works.

What is also interesting is if a component like Joomla Art amazon 3 is used and work really well this also has stopped working for the mentioned extensions

This effects both Easysocial and Easyblogs all other extensions used on the site have no issue.

Any ideas?

Regards
Sam
You will have to manually rename the paths on Amazon S3 because right now when you change the path, the system does not alter them.

Hi Mark
Are you are referring to the physical buckets on amazon s3?

if so I have uploaded the new buckets complete with images to amazon s3 so they can correspond with the new folder path but no go. It must be something else.
I have tripled check names and paths on Easysocial , the new directory folder and amazon they are all correct.

Is there a path setting in the code for amazon where the new directory path needs to be changed?

Hi Sam,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

When you say the S3 no longer work, do you mean the image links are now broken? Or the image no longer synced into S3?
Also, can you pass me your Joomla backend admin access, your ftp account and your amazon s3 account so that we can check this issue for you?

Please advise.

Hi
No the image links are fine to the new directory path they still show up the server stored images its the synced with S3 that is not working.

I was also able to use the ja amazon s3 component and it worked really well now when I transfer the images in either fashion they still bring up the server images.

I can't give you access at the present time we are in the middle of doing something but I will do so soon
