I had the same issue when I tried to update to 1.4 stuck in update screen, I used admin tools to clear tmp folder, cleared cache and then loaded dashboard.

That admin tools, install and then click clear temp folder, then clear your cache

I got stuck 60% of the way on step 4 (on test site that previously used beta releases). To fix this I simply went to Joomla's admin panel, clicked components > EasySocial, proceeded through the installation steps again. Suddenly it worked perfectly and much faster the second time.

I've checked your site and it seems like you have managed to install your easysocial 1.4.1 on your site. May I know if there are any additional issue after the installation on your site?
