Instead of using dashboard set to menu and made as default, are there other types of layout that can be changed using module placement through the Unity/Dashboard default Home.

Hope that makes sense.
Hello Peter,

In EasySocial 1.2, the dashboard view will be accessible by public as we are deprecating the "Unity" view. It seems to introduce more confusions than really solving problems.

What module placement can be made to change the current 1.2 default view (2 column)?

Example:
1 full width column for feed and then 2 columns below it for modules (who's online, leaderboard, etc..)

I'm asking because I tried module with new position and it's not working.

Hello Peter,

Unfortunately you can't re-style the layout using module positions. You can however, customize them in the theme file if you want

Hi Mark

That explains why it wasn't working. I was looking at the doc and it shows all the positions available. Are all those module positions still valid after 1.2 is released or have they been changed?

Yep they are still valid but the 2 column layouts are fixed within the template. Even if you remove all the modules from the left sidebar, some core parts are not in modules.
