When I insert a title to an image with JS editor does in the ALT attribute instead of the TITLE attribute. How I can fix it?
Hello Mariano,

Thank you for the head up on this one Mariano Glad to hear your issue now resolved
Sure, we will take a look again into the RedactorJS editor again and see how we can address this issue with the ALT attribute.

Thanks again for your feedback and your suggestion
Have a nice day

Hello,

Em, may i know which JS editor you referring? Im not aware of this Joomla editor
Anyway, you can always check if the image tag has the ALT attribute or not by toggle the editor into source code view. If there is no ALT, then you can actually manaually add in the ALT attribute

Hope this help and have a nice day

I use the Editor redactorJS I downloaded here. Yes that's right, I can manually edit the code but it is not practical.

When I insert an image in a blog post, selecting the image I can add a title but the TITLE attribute becomes ALT attribute

Hello Mariano,

If you are embedding images, why don't use the media manager's embed tool? You get to set the title of the image when you embed by clicking on the "Customize" button for that particular image.

Hello Mariano,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have tested this internally and it does use the title attribute if you add a caption to your image. I am not too sure if you are on the same page as me but can you please confirm that you are on this screen when you are setting the image caption? http://screencast.com/t/OOScrvJu7

Resolved.

The problem is the plugin RedactorJS.
When you insert an image and try to edit it, you can not first insert it into the desired position and you must do so by editing the html code; if you try to edit the title of the image, you modify the ALT.

I replaced another text editor and now works correctly.

I recommend you try to do checking RedactorJS selecting as default and try to edit an image editor.

I have tried several text editors and works best and offers more functionality is the JCE editor. You can create multiple profiles and layauts user group; select which folders and files you can access the various user groups and visually, if they select the layaut "mobile" is just perfect.

If you want to comment on my experience with the JCE editor, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you very much.
