to achieve that, you have to follow these examples step:

backend>components>easyblog>categories>Your categories name>permissions

under privacy you have to select this Assigned Joomla user group option.

Then you can select which Joomla user group you would like to allow them to have permission to post in this category.

this problem is caused by one of your plugin, that is System - jQuery Easy Profiles plugin.
We have disable it for you. You can check and try it again for confirmation.
