It seems that I was able to replicate it and confirm this is a bug.

For temporary fix, you need to modify your default.php file. You can just download my attached default.php and replace it at your original location, JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/tags/default.php

This will disable the view of 'Show Search', 'Show Sorting Options' and 'Show Used Counter'.
