Hi there,

I've been porting articles from core to EasyBlog (manually in order to take advantage of the Composer editor), and I'm experiencing an issue in that none of the posts I'm creating and publishing are being listed in the Media Manager under "All Posts". I don't know if I'm misinterpreting what should be happening but I'm expecting that any posts I publish should appear when I then look under All Posts in media manager on another post. Currently all that is showing is the post "You have successfully installed EasyBlog" which is doubly odd as I've deleted that post.

I'm using the latest version of EasyBlog and all the articles have been created directly in Composer. This is also happening while logged on a super user so I'm not sure if it could be a permission/ACL issue.

Am I misunderstanding what this tab is there for or is something playing up - and if so please could you give me some ideas on how to fix it?

As a related query, I can see in the documentation for EB about enabling integration with EasySocial albums, but the setting referenced appears to have disappeared since - is this not available now or does it just happen automatically? If so I think this might be playing up as well as I can't see any way of accessing EasySocial albums from within EasyBlog's Media Manager.

Many thanks
Tim
Hey Tim,

No problem Tim and I understand some people do spend time working on their site during the weekend. Ah it looks like there is a bug in the way the posts are being retrieved in the media manager. I have fixed this for your site and it works fine now

In case anyone else needs a quick fix for this, download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/

Hello Tim,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this is odd because if you are a site admin, these posts should show up for you.

Is it possible for you to edit your post above and include the FTP access so that I can look into this?

Hi Mark

Thanks so much for looking at this so quickly - I honestly wasn't expecting a reply over the weekend, it's just that's when I tend to be working on this site

FTP details added - many thanks again.

Tim

Goodness me, Mark your support is amazing thank you so much!

Sorry to be a pain but is there any solution to the second question about accessing EasySocial's albums from within EasyBlog? The documentation refers to an option that doesn't appear to be in the settings anymore so I'm not sure if it's still available or just done in some other way...

Many thanks again, that's a massive help having that working properly

Hey Tim,

Ah, I must have missed your second question earlier! Sorry about that! It should automatically work without any settings at all. My account do not have any photos in EasySocial so I can't test it. When I tried to access EasySocial on the front end, I seem to be hitting this, http://take.ms/4275q .

Do you have an account that has albums on EasySocial so that I can test this on EasyBlog?

Hi Mark

Apologies I clearly hadn't thought that one through enough just created a test album and it's coming up correctly under the My Albums tab so it's actually working fine! I think I was expecting the avatars and cover photos to be listed as well but I presume these are handled separately?

Albums created within pages/groups still don't appear to be listed but is that normal behaviour?

Many thanks again
Tim

Oh also it seems the 404 is because I didn't actually have a published menu item for EasySocial

Hello Tim,

Thanks for getting back to me on this. Ah yes, it currently only lists albums that you created under your account. Because of privacy and permission concerns, group / event / page albums does not appear in the media manager.
