Hello,

To avoid a conflict with the name 'album', I rename my menu 'Album' into 'Galerie Photo'

BUT ALL the pictures of all Groups are not display and the album is empty too

please HELP me as my users are lots !

Many thanks
Henri
Hey Henri,

I tried checking your site and there seems to be many missing folders under /media/com_easysocial/photos/ . For instance, the group "Marathon d'Albi" uses the cover at http://newclm.com/media/com_easysocial/photos/222/301/albi2018b_large.jpg

But the foler /media/com_easysocial/photos/ is missing. The changes that you made in the menu has nothing to do with this.

When I logged into the ftp, those folders are actually missing. Changing any settings wouldn't cause these items to just magically dissappear . If you have a backup, maybe you could restore the /media/com_easysocial/photos folder?

Thanks Mark, I know that is late your time

I don't know if I have a backup, if there is an automatic backup and how to restore it.
Can you help me at least to see if (1) I have a back up and if yes (2) to restore it.

In a second time, I will need to understand what can be happen to 'remove' (?) all the files. I did not use ftp. I just used the backend and I understand that is not the cause of the damage. So what are the others options?

Hey Henri,

The problem is I have no idea how the backups were being created. Your hosting should know it better because they are the one that is performing those backups.

Here's what I think you should do. Try to contact your hosting provider and get them to restore that particular folder.

Once that is all sorted out, ask them to check the logs of the FTP or any other areas to see what might be causing those folders to be removed

ah you are talking about the backup managed by OVH (my host).
I will try to contact them

question : is a extension like Akeeba could be useful in the future to face this kind of issues ?
If it was installed, should I restore the missing folders?

Hey Henri,

Hm, I never used Akeeba but generally most control panels by your hosting company allows you to restore by folders. Maybe you can try to reach out to OVH first?
