Albums Privacy Setting

Is there a way to set a Privacy for Albums within Pages and/or Groups? I have this public open page/group but although it is public I wanted people to login to see the album, is that possible?

Would be nice to set a Privacy for Albums on create album layout. Something like:


  • Only Me
  • Custom
  • Members Only

Hello Jackson,

Unfortunately it is not going to possible and technically, this is really challenging and heavy to the SQL too. Also, it really wouldn't make sense if the group / page is private but it's albums are visible publicly. It defeats the whole purpose of making the group / page private in the first place.

Hi Mark,

Just an idea a granular privacy setting regardless of the container default privacy. Anyhow, if you say it would be taxing for queries then I guess it is a bad idea.
