Albanians and payplans

When making payment the default country selected is Albania. We don't get many users from there. Maybe others do.

For us, it would be much better to have the united states as the default. Is there a setting for this?

Alright Tom. I have helped you apply the template override on the file that is responsible for displaying the country field in PayPal Pro(attached).

I created the template override file and placed it in the following location:
JoomlaFolder/templates/your_default_template/html/com_payplans/apps/paypalpro/form.php

If you compare it to the original file at JoomlaFoler/plugins/payplans/paypalpro/app/tmpl/form.php, line 64/65 is modified.

As for the issue which I have logged in the tracker, it will be to standardize the form so that it shows the 'Please select a country' option(some sites may not want Albania as the default).

Are you referring to the checkout page('Select a country' is the default option on my local instance: https://take.ms/m2Yw3O)? If not, can you provide us a screenshot as to which page you are referring to?

Also, can you provide us the backend access to the site so we can investigate?

This issue remains. I failed to see you request for more info. Here is a screen shot.

I cant add login details to this post-- the option isnt here. But surely i am not the only person to have this issue-- surely you can just tell me how to fix it :-)

By the way, did you disable the country field on the frontend? Because currently I don't see it.

Im sorry-- the account wasn't enabled. I reset the password and re-enabled the account--please check for the new password

The country field isn't disabled. its showing me albania. Screenshot attached

FYI-- The issue is when people try to pay with credit card rather than when they sign up for free

Hey Tom,

Thanks for the screenshot and access. I get it now. The country field is actually from PayPalPro's payment page. Initially I thought it was from the checkout page.

I am able to reproduce the issue locally and will log this in our tracker.

I wasn't reporting a bug. I was asking to have the default country for my subscription form to be the United States

This request is still outstanding and this issue isn't resolved by adding it to your tracker

I believe this will be fixed with a simple edit in the form template but Id appreciate your help in doing that.

Please do this before you log this issue in the tracker.
