after upgrading to 1.2.2 the site goes blank

hi guys
can anybody help me. i have just up graded the website to 1.2.2 and the site goes blank.
this is the text which appears on the blank page : (The unity view has been deprecated. Please use the dashboard view instead.)

please help

Try contacting your hosting provider to slightly increase the memory limit.

Hello Robert,

We have actually removed the "Unity" view in favor of using the "Dashboard" view instead. All you need to do now is to change your menu item to point to the Dashboard instead.

hello Mark
i have just changed the menu item to point to the Dashboard instead. the home page is opening ,but when i try to login the site goes blank or when i try to register. ihave tried in al browsers its the same. is there anything am missing at the backend settings?
