We just start a new website.

1) We just update Easysocial 1.3.25 to 1.3.28 and we have always the message Outdated (no error message during all the update process of easysocial).

2) We have a second problem with the login JFB connect (before the update all was ok. We need the users can Sign In both with out social account (email only) and with social account.

We would like a technician come to our website to solve both problems.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have tried to login to the back end of your site with the provided login credentials but unfortunately they are not working for me . Can you please advise?

As for the issues with JFBConnect, I am sorry but I am afraid we might not be able to assist you with this. Our integrations with JFBConnect is to display / render their sign in buttons within EasySocial. The entire operation of signing up with JFBConnect is still done within JFBConnect. Therefore it's best that you get in touch with Alex from Sourcecoast to take a look at it.

Good morning,

Stell problem with update Easysocial 1.3.25 to 1.3.28 and we have always the message Outdated (no error message during all the update process of easysocial).
Now the update on step 4 block on the download section stay at 0%, and we cant go out the update process....

PS: I update the data for the access on administrator

Hi Patrick Roux,

I've hit an error while trying to upload the launcher package

The "Copy file Failed" error is a common Joomla error when your site's file/folders permission aren't correct somehow.

The problem was indeed an file owner/group problem. Can you consult with your Webhosting provider to help you check the file permissions and chown for all files and folders to the correct owners on your server? All files need to be writable by the webserver user.

I also notice that your web server php information *max_execution_time* has been set to 10, can you consult your web hosting provider to increased 300?

Can you update us after your visit from web hosting provider?

By the way, FTP access can't login as well.

Ok With your help, I find the way to resolve the problem....
1) I activat the max_execution_time to the max during one hour (with infomaniak.ch hosting its for 1 hour)
2) setup again ftp data inside the server setup inside Joomla
3) resinstall easysocial
4) finish update
5) done

Now EasySocial ready updated to v1.3.28

I will check if any other question about the setup,

I have this issue too. Same version 1.3.25 - it wont update to latest.

What is the bug and how can I fix it?

I resolve the problem with: I activat the max_execution_time (inside the hosting setup) to the max during one hour (with infomaniak.ch hosting its for 1 hour)

If you increase max_execution_time to 300 still can't update your Easysocial in your site, can you create a new post and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?
