Installation went normal no issues but after setting the frontpage on a menu item - easydiscuss is loading for ever
loading circle does not stop

After checking on your site, it seems that your current template (Flex - Default) who caused this issues to happen. After i changed your template to Joomla default(Protostar) template it load fine. Maybe EasyDiscuss got conflict with this settings (Page Preloader) on your current template(Flex - Default).

Maybe you can consult with "Flex" template service provider or disable "Page Preloader" as shown http://screencast.com/t/pSGDRvsSh and see how it goes.

OK debugged it so see what happened really behind the scenes, I got it fixed it was the jquery of easidiscuss as the page loaded. I switched the Jquery off and now it works fine.
